Is this the disadvantage of the hashtag world or social networks? I suppose it is a difference between those on the ground and those that do not have the privilege to be there?

For example, the 99% protestors camped out for ages in cities, and others posted to social media, or reposted those in the protest. I guess I am just struck by the contrast of yesterday's social network protest and today's as usual.
