INSTAGRAM INFLUENCER, PODCASTER, YOUTUBER WITH SPONSOR PRODUCT: But This Now! They didn't pay me to say this! I only got this very expensive product for absolutely free. I love it.
AUDIENCE: I must have that!
It's because big companies have now realized they can hack the system and rake in more views with "manufactured authenticity". That is the shell game we've used to play but to fool *ourselves*: we think we've found authenticity, but we still can't find it after lifting all 3 shells.
So don't underestimate how dogged big business are at using unscrupulous means of making money.
